Sleep.

You haven’t had much of that last night, maybe three, four hours at most. You had spent most of your last night watching the news and mourning over the large group of new deaths. Still the murderers haven’t been found.

You did manage to sleep at around 4 am, you would have slept more if you had chosen to take afternoon classes but no, you chose morning classes for college because you were usually a morning person. That was until you moved to New York City and heard the killing sprees around the city.

As you pushed yourself out of bed you looked at your digital clock that was next to you on the small side table. 7:44am. You just stared at it before jumping out of bed, you had slept though your alarm and you were going to be late for your first day of college. You grabbed a blue sweater and a pair of light blue jeans and yanked them on. Next, you grabbed an apple and ate it as fast as humanly possible before drinking a glass of orange juice. Then you ran to the bathroom and washed your face, combed your (h/l) (h/c) hair, brushed your teeth, and placed a light layer of make-up; you never one to over do it on make-up. You looked at you digital clock again, 8:03am.

You had 25 minutes to get to your college; you grabbed your black backpack that had an American flag picture on outside pocket, clicked on your white watch, and you ran out of your apartment room. After locking your door you waited for the elevator, nope, it was taking too long. You went to the emergency staircase, you hated it so much because it smelt like heavy cigarette smoke but you had to get to college, and ran down the stair so fast you were amazed that you didn’t trip and fall while holding your breathe.

Once out of the staircase, after coming down 6 floors, you took in a big breath of air and continued to run. You knew you had missed the bus so you had to run to your college on your own two feet. You didn’t care that there had been killing sprees, all that matter at the moment was not being late for your first day.

You rounded corner after corner with quick speed as your breath became short, man did you hate running, but you had no choice. As you were nearing your college you felt slightly relieved, but you kept running. You turned the corner just to run into someone. You fell hard to the ground and groaned in pain. That was when you realized you bumped into someone.

You quickly got up and looked at the person and gave a sincere apology, “I’m so sorry I bumped into you, sir, I was in such a hurry; I should have watched where I was going. I’m so sorry. I hope I didn’t harm you in anyway.” Your voice was light, angelic, and a bit breathy since you just ran a long while straight.

The man you had bumped into, well, let’s say he was very good-looking, but you took no notice since you were worried you had caused harm for bumping into him. He had messy red brown hair that complimented his blood red eyes that matched his blood red sunglasses. You noticed his hair had a cowlick which you looked at curiously for a moment, just a moment though. He also was wearing a dark brown bomber jacket and black ripped jeans that went well with his tanned skin. He didn’t look much older than you, too.

He looked extremely intimidating, especially when he glared at you when you bumped into him but his facial changed to neutral when he heard you apologizing so innocently.

When the man didn’t answer you question you looked at him worriedly, worried that you caused him trouble. You apologized again, “I really am sorry, I didn’t mean to bump into you. It was all my fault, I’m sorry.” You were always one who apologized so sincerely, and repeatedly.

You heard a soft beeping sound from your watch, an alarm; you looked at it, 8:20am. Your eyes widened, 10 minutes left. “I have to really get going. Good-bye, I hope you have a good day. I really am sorry for bumping into you.” And then you ran passed him with lightning fast speed.

As you passed the man you failed to notice him giving you a deadly toothy smirk with calculating evil eyes.
Wow, I finished this chapter quickly. ^w^ I feel proud of it. You should feel ashamed of yourself, sleeping in so late you had to run 25 minutes in order to get to college on time. Tsk. Do you know who that person you bumped into was? Yeah, I'm sure you figured it out.

Reader-chan really does like to apologies for what she does wrong, doesn't she?

I hope you enjoyed it~! Comment plz?
