Hold.

For many minutes had you stayed in the arms of Lovino as he had held you tightly, refusing to let anyone else hold onto you. If one of the police officers tried to pick you up and away from him Lovino would snap at them to not take you and glare hell fires at them. The police, even if they had the authority to get you away from Lovino’s grasp, just backed away and kept you with your blonde Italian friend. These police officers saw no harm in letting Lovino keep a grip around you in his hug and figured that for the tense and stress that both you and Lovino must have been feeling the two of you staying by each other would be best to get you relaxed.

Also since the police noted that you didn’t look like you were in shock, which was a good sign and beneficial for everyone, it was more acceptable for Lovino to still keep his grasp around you. If you had been in shock from you near death experience than the police would have been forced to take you away from Lovino quickly and get you to recover from the shock since being in shock for too long could cause death itself.

Though many officers wondered why you haven’t gone through shock yet, it was expected, and they just figured it was because you hadn’t figured out yet that you had been in a near death situation and with that thought there were some who keep watch over you at a short distance as other’s tended to Scilla who was still unconscious. But the reason why you hadn’t gone into shock wasn’t because of that reason; the real reason was a whole different one.

You didn’t fear death, of course, but it was something only you and a handful of others knew about. In a matter of seconds of the incident had happened only mere minutes ago you were able to comprehend the situation and the high risk you could have had of getting yourself killed by your reckless actions. But either way you were here now, alive and well with Lovino, and waiting for the helicopter that was to come and get you and Scilla to the hospital.

Since Scilla was unconscious she wouldn’t be able to walk on the ledge safely to the open window and since people and someone carrying her over there was way too risky with a high chance of the unconscious Scilla and the person carrying her could fall off. And since many people believed that you weren’t well enough and had gone through nearly falling off a building into order to catch Scilla it was a precaution to not let you walk on your own let alone walk on a ledge to the window.

So you were stuck here as though you were almost dead or unconscious yourself when you could easily walk on your own and that you were perfectly fine except for a few small scraps on your legs. But, to please Lovino you stayed put and in his arms, feeling absolutely terrible for causing him such fear and trouble and nearly causing him to fall to his death as well. You were so going to make it up for him, that’s for sure.

You looked at Lovino and saw that he was looking at Scilla with a distant look as though he was remembering something from a long time ago. Curiosity bit at your tongue but you kept quiet once more, feeling again that you had no right to ask at the moment. With nothing other to do you continued to observe your Italian friend, trying to see if his eyes would somehow hint at his relation to Scilla.

It didn’t take long for Lovino to sense that you were looking at him, and broken from his memories he looked at you with a bit of curious eyes as well to see what you were doing or trying to do by observing him. Then his eyes turned sad as he remember the fact again of the incident minutes ago before looking back at the unconscious Scilla with glaring red eyes.

You could tell he was blaming Scilla for causing all the trouble and you didn’t want to see that glare on Lovino’s face any longer let alone let it be aimed by Scilla. Even though you didn’t know Scilla and knew little of what she’s done and knew of what she was going to do you felt that merciful pity for the woman.

You lifted up your hand and gripped it to Lovino’s left one that was wrapped around your, this caught his attention and looked at you with worry thinking that you needed something.

“Lovino, don’t blame everything on that woman; I am at fault, too.”

Lovino looked at you silently before sighing and hugging you closer, as though if he let go you’d fall a hundred feet, “You shouldn’t be worry about her, ____, all you need to worry about is yourself and getting better. So, don’t talk, save your breath for recovery, and relax.”

You felt Lovino nuzzle into the top of your head, “Lovino, I’m perfectly fine; you should know, you’re the one to save me. And I’m truly thankful for that Lovino but you could have fallen, too, and gotten hurt because of me.”

Red eyes narrowed as he heard your last sentence, “Angelo, you are my closest friend and I wasn’t going to stand there and watch you fall; you should understand that much, you couldn’t stand anything that dangers others if you’d be able to help. And I don’t ever want you to die. I know that you’re not scared of dying but I am, ____, I’m scared of you dying…and I’m probably not the only one.”

The knowledge clicked in your head and you sat up straight which caused you to break out of Lovino’s grasp for a bit before he frantically reached his arms to bring you back to a more relaxed position on his chest, “This is terrible! Just imagine how Al and the others will react once they hear about this! They’d—” Lovino shushed you quietly and quickly to calm you down, if you keep that up you’d probably go into ‘shock’ or at least that’s what the police would think.

“Sssshhhh, angelo, quiet. Calm down, we don’t want you to accidently injure yourself. Don’t worry about the others, okay? Just completely forget I mentioned it, let me worry about them and you just focus on getting better.” His voice was so reassuring and smooth it actually did calm your worry if only a bit, “I told you already, I’m perfectly fine.”

Before anymore words could be spoken the two of you heard the faint sound of a chopper, seems like the helicopter would be arriving soon. Again you felt Lovino’s grip on you tighter a bit and you figured it was because he knew he wouldn’t be able to come with you on the helicopter. For the next minute you stayed still as Lovino glare lightly at the incoming copter.

Once it landed things quickly went into motion and Lovino suddenly swooped you up bridal style, much to your surprise, as he carried you over to the copter. The unconscious and injured Scilla was already in the copter getting examined by a few people inside by the time Lovino had gotten you there. With a quick and gentle motion you had moved from Lovino’s arms to a person from inside the helicopter’s arms. As you were strapped down into a seat by one of the few people you watched Lovino talk to another person asking about which hospital you would be going to.

As everything was set to go in a matter of a minute or so Lovino waved good-bye, saying that he’d see you soon and that you shouldn’t worry about anything, and as Lovino started moving away from the helicopter you felt the copter lift. With nothing else to do you looked over to Scilla and gave her your wishes on getting well.

With Lovino he watched the helicopter for a moment before giving a frustrated sigh with a sort of scowl on his perfect face. He radiated with a sort of anger and irritated aura around him and it was enough to warn the police that he wasn’t in the mood for any ‘questioning’ on why he was there in the first place, and the knowledge wasn’t particularly needed so the police just let the Italian have his space.

A quick moment afterwards Lovino was moving towards the ledge and, with a surprise to the police, swiftly and skillfully walked down the ledge and through the window. Lovino kept moving forward to the elevator as the police officers looked at him strangely, wondering how he was able to walk down the ledge without having support of the wall and such. After a few moments of silent staring the police regroup and called in to the headquarters to report what had happened. As they did that the elevator arrived and Lovino went in, pressed the level floor and waited in silence until the elevator doors opened for him to leave.

Once he was close to the door of the entrance he heard the commotion outside and mentally cursed at the fact that there was people and press out there, probably more now that they knew he was here, and going through the back door wouldn’t help either.

Lovino looked behind him, maybe he should have brought a police officer with him but he dismissed that thought, he had something to do for you and no crowd of people would stop him. He did tell you to not worry after all, he’s just being responsible for his words now.

Lovino moved through the entrance doors and instantly saw that there was space between the door and the crowd of people, seems like the police was able to push them back after they realized Lovino was in the building. In the corner of his eye he saw the girls being escorted by policeman and bombarded by the press. Anger flashed in Lovino’s red eyes. The press really should stop bothering girls who had just concluded to continuing living thanks to you.

Shouts and joyful screeching was heard when fans saw Lovino, they seemed to have completely forgotten the tragic event that almost happened. But Lovino ignored them, not even giving a smile or even a look like he would usually do; instead he quickly walked over to the girls. Walking right passed them and in front of the press, catching the press’ attention away from the girls. Though, before he could continue moving a few more feet, the eldest of the girls noticed that you weren’t with him and urgently grabbed his wrist.

Lovino turned and looked at the eldest, somewhat surprised that she’d just go out and grab his wrist yet look at him with a somewhat worry yet determined look, “Where’s Miss.____? Why hasn’t she come out with you?” Lovino’s eyes flashed again but it wasn’t noticeable for unobservant people but they flashed because originally the press didn’t know that you that had come here as well. Now the press would question him and you on that matter and that’s annoying enough.

He tried to pull his wrist away from the girl but she wouldn’t let go, she wanted answer like now everyone else. Inwardly growling and the lost time he moved closer to her quickly and whispered into her ear, “She saved that woman that was with you but got injured, that’s why the helicopter came. Don’t speak a word of it here in public though, not yet at least…”

No one else heard him but her and she was shocked, enough shocked that Lovino pulled his wrist away from her with ease. Lovino turned to leave, quickly getting away as the eldest tried to call him back. As cameras were flashed and videos were taken and questions were asked Lovino ignored. Luckily Lovino was able to spot his limo not too far away and pushed his way through everyone.

Finally he made it into the limo and ordered the limo driver to drive and thankfully the police were doing a good job at keeping the crowd away from the whole street. With a quick jerk the limo sped off and the limo driver spoke nothing, knowing well enough that with Lovino’s serious and thoughtful look meant something serious had happened and most likely it involved you since you weren’t by Lovino’s side.

“Driver, take me to my estate. Pronto.” The driver did as he was told and Lovino grabbed his phone, flipping it open, and dialed a particular number.

Lovino could hear the rings and on the third one the receiver answered with a “Hmm”.

“Antonio, get Feliciano and the other four to my mansion, immediatamente.” The Italian’s voice held the seriousness that he showed and held command that he was expecting to be followed.

“…Por qué?” The question wasn’t really one that needed an answer, Antonio never really forced an answer from Lovino in the first place but he still asked the question anyways.

Lovino paused before continuing, “Angelo ____ had gotten herself into quite a dangerous situation and if I weren’t there she would have, 100%, died and is in the hospital at the moment to be checked for injuries. I promised her that I’d explain the situation to all of you so she wouldn’t have to worry and I need to make sure that those other four, and maybe my fratello, won’t overreact or something like that and disturbing ____ right now. Not until later.”

There was a long silence on the other side of the phone, if Lovino didn’t know better he would have thought Antonio had hanged up, but that wasn’t it. Antonio was silent, processing the short amount of information Lovino gave him, before finally saying, “We’ll be there soon.” Then the call ended.

Now with that taken care of Lovino looked out his window, never in his career had he been so open with his darker emotions to the public but you were just that important. Memories flowed in as the drive went out, memories of the reasons why you were so important let alone meaningful to him.

After several long minutes Lovino was at his estate and left the limo and straight into his mansion. He ordered his maids and butler to set up a room for company that would be a private meeting and people went to work.

Lovino stayed where he was, inside his and Feliciano’s home by the door awaiting the arrival of Antonio and the others. The wait was annoying but he dealt with it, though wished they’d hurry up and be here so he could explain and get to the hospital of where you were and check on you with the group.

Then he heard the door bell ring and echo out in the halls. With a sharp turn he opened the door, facing a confused group of people with Antonio, Francis, and Matt seemingly at the most ease; seemingly.

Al was the first to question Lovino, glaring at the same time, “What are we doing here and where’s my doll?” Lovino glared back at Al, “I’ll explain that in a bit, but come on, get inside. I don’t want to waste anymore time that has already been wasted.”

The blonde Italian led Al and the gang along with Antonio and Feliciano to a room upstairs and after closing the door with everyone inside Lovino gave a silent sigh. None of this worry was at all helping him in his complexion.

“Alright, we’re here so hurry up and fucking explain. I’m tired of the damn waiting, and where the fuck is my doll? …If you’ve hurt her—” Al’s voice was more aggressive now but even his voice was overpowered by the anger in Lovino’s voice at the accusing of harming you, “Just. Shut. Up. And don’t you ever dare say I’ve hurt her!”

Al marched up to Lovino, both sharing a deadly glaring contest, “Then fucking tell me where’s my doll!”

Lovino didn’t answer right away, not sure at how Al would react or the other’s at least, but said the words anyways quickly after. “Angelo is in the hospital.” Then silence filled the room; not a pleasant silence at all.
Yeah~! Another chapter is up and I feel as though this is a bit of a filler...but a filler to just bring a bit of suspense. And I just realized, I've been writing too much about Lovino (<w< how can I not, he's one of my favs XD) but I must say, that should at least indicate that Lovino is an important character. Who know's when the actual tragedy will come. Now I'm talking too much. And gooooooosh, I absolutely hate it when the press has so sympathy when it comes to these kinds of things, most of the time they just want a good and/or juicy story.

I think it's absolutely adorable how Lovino overreacts on Reader-chan's minor injuries, really, she's fine >w< but either way needs to go to the hospital, sigh. I mean really, anyone who befriends Reader-chan is bound to get the 'overreacting' disease, bound to happen. ((Hehehehe, Lovino always calls Antonio first =w= probably because Feliciano would have overreacted too and demanded answer right there and then over the phone)) {You know, I enjoy comparing Lovino to Arthur, they have some similarities don't they, yet still such different people}

Anyways, sorry if there are any grammar problems but I hope you still enjoyed it and will comment. I think a lot of the interesting parts will be in the next and the next next chapter.
